If you are anything like me then I’m sure you have boxes and albums full of pictures and polaroids everywhere. There is something special about looking back at perfect memories that I captured that just brings me pure joy. The problem is coming up with a creative way to display them around my home.
With that being said I am excited to share this SUPER EASY DIY dollar store frame turned polaroid display with you all. I am not kidding when I say this is super easy, you only need a few supplies and about 15 minutes.
Supplies
Dollar store frame
Hot glue gun
pics/polaroids
Mini clothespins (I got mine at the dollar store)
Yarn or string
Cardstock of choice (optional)
Spray Paint of choice (optional)
Step 1
Take the glass out of the frame and dispose of the glass properly. This is the point that you would need to spray paint if you would like. I spray painted one of the frames white and left the other one they way it came.
Step 2
Measure the length of the frame where you will be placing your yarn or string. Cut out multiple yarn/string to the measured length. Hot glue them to the back of the frame in anyway you would like. I did a criss-cross pattern, but there is no right or wrong way. Trim the excess.
Step 3 (optional)
Measure a piece of scrapbook cardstock of your choice to the same measurements as your frame. Add hot glue to the 4 corners and glue the carstock to the back of the frame.
Step 4
Display the frame on a shelve or on a wall using mounting tape and admire your creation!
